History & Facilities

Strawson Community Hall has existed in Horley since soon after the First World War when it was donated to the town by a local businessman, George Strawson. During the almost 100 years it has served many purposes and is now a community meeting place intended to provide an affordable space for small community groups and local families.

Having said that the current hall was newly constructed in 2018.
